This session explores the possibilities of teaching without published textbooks in the 21st century classroom. Digital and alternative learning resources found on the Internet, from primary and other sources, and appropriate instructional strategies will broaden teaching possibilities. Participants will engage in a discussion with two presenters who have been teaching without textbooks for two years in a high school economics class with a 1-1 program, and in college special education pre-service teacher education courses.
