If you haven't been a part of the discussion of SLO's (Student Learning Objectives) you will be soon. Student Learning Objectives (SLOs) are detailed, measurable goals for student academic growth to be achieved in a specified period of time (typically an academic year), and developed collaboratively by educators and their supervisors. . SLOs are intended to provide educators with opportunities to demonstrate their students’ academic growth by setting rigorous, attainable goals for student achievement that are aligned to standards and to the instruction that teachers provide on a daily basis. These SLO's will then be used to help to evaluate the educator on how effective they are in their positions. This session will help you to wrap your brain around SLO's and how to help develop them for the School Library Media Specialist.
